Graduate Programs in Tourism: An opportunity to improve your qualifications in tourism -the fastest growing sector of world trade.

The Master of Tourism program and its nested components, Graduate Certificate and the Graduate Diploma in Tourism, has been designed to provide professional postgraduate education in the application of knowledge for those seeking a career in tourism. The design of the program allows graduates with tertiary qualifications in tourism, related disciplines or relevant professional experience to upgrade their qualifications.

Flexibility in the way the courses can be taken responds to the needs of people employed in tourism and other industries where it may be necessary to work irregular shifts. The courses will be delivered face-to-face at the City West Campus of the University of South Australia but they will also be available online. By taking a maximum of 3 courses in each teaching period, commencing in mid January and concluding in mid December, students may complete the courses in the following time periods:

Masters program within 1 calendar year

Graduate Diploma program within 9 calendar months

Graduate Certificate program within 6 calendar months

The career prospects will be excellent for graduates who can apply best-practice business principles in a way that reflects the specific characteristics and dynamic nature of the tourism industry
