STUDY AREAS
PROFESSIONAL MASTERSHealth Sciences offers a range of professional masters courses to enable health professionals to update their theoretical base and learn advanced practice skills. The courses are generally of three-semester duration full-time. However, they have flexibility to give due credit to work experience so that eligible students may receive their qualifications in less than the usual time.
Professional Masters
GRADUATE ENTRY MASTERSThe physical therapies at Curtin have developed graduate entry masters programs for graduates from health disciplines who are looking to change their career direction. A major reason for initiating these programs is community demand for more occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech pathologists. The programs are completed in two years full-time study. Entry to the programs is competitive. Applications are assessed on past academic achievement and work experience. Bridging assistance may be available where students need assistance with a study area.
