Welcome to Grace Lutheran College
Grace Lutheran College is one College with two campuses at Rothwell and Caboolture. We educate students from Year 8 to Year 12. We have an excellent Middle Years Program and Senior Program and offer a wide-ranging subject offering excellent facilities and a best-practice pastoral care program. Our Pastoral Care reflects the concern the College has that each individual feels he/she belongs to this community and has the fullest possible opportunity for spiritual personal social physical and academic growth.
With Year 7 becoming a part of all high schools in 2015 grace has been operating a tried and trusted Middle School program since 2008. Grace’s designated Middle School precinct gives all students access to new air conditioned classrooms interactive whiteboards and full computer use. Students are nurtured by known and trusted core teachers for subjects including Christian Studies english maths science and SOSE; while then branching out to undertaken the Experience Program with specialist teaching in Languages performing Arts computing lifestyle Technology media visual Arts and Industrial Technology.
Senior School (Years 10 -12) offers many opportunities for the individual to grow. Students are very fortunate to be able to access subjects in a wide range of disciplines and suitable for differing interests and ability levels. The College provides excellent facilities such as a state of the art commercial kitchen well appointed visual and performing arts industrial technology and physical education facilities as well as many modern air conditioned classrooms and computer laboratories. The fully air conditioned library caters for many classes every day by providing reading spaces computer access and research facilities. Seniors celebrate school life through House sporting competitions joint worship at chapels and formal occasions. Physical activity is encouraged through a compulsory physical education and sports program. The College camping program involves a 4 week outdoor activity in Year 10 aLeadership camp in Year 11 and a three day retreat in Year 12. School tours are organised to the snow japan germany and in 2010 for the first time we went to Gallipoli.
